Tutor: Mary Grogan, Reiki Teacher, Dip Reflexology, Accunect Energy Practitioner.
Having studied energy medicine for nearly 20 years now, the purpose of this day is to share with youone of the most effective and nourishing hands on healing techniques that I use constantly on myself for my own self-care maintenance and also on my family, pets and clients.
Reiki II
After a period of practicing and integrating Reiki 1, students can then progress to learn Reiki level 2 where the intensity of the reiki energy is increased.
Reiki 2 further opens the chakras and increases the energy flow in your bodies. It mostly works on the mental and emotional bodies and areas that need to be cleared or resolved so that you can progress and move on in life. It can also facilitate the acceleration of your spiritual growth.
Reiki level 2 is known as the practitioner level meaning that you are equipped and qualified to apply the Reiki energy and techniques to people as clients, if you so choose. You learn how to send Reiki to a person at a distance and you will be given extra symbols to empower it.
The training is conducted in a one day workshop format
A breakdown of what students can expect to learn is detailed below:
- Review of the Reiki Principles
- Explanation and meaning of Reiki 2 symbols:
I. The power symbol
II. Mental and emotional symbol
III. Distance symbol to be used for distant healing
- How to give others a Reiki treatment
- Practicing drawing all symbols and sending out healing using the distant symbol.
- Review of the 21 day clearing process.
- Certificate and detailed manual that serves as a reference guide for their practice.
- Mary will facilitate 2 additional Reiki shares within the 21 day cleansing period where students can experience the benefits of both giving & receiving Reiki for all students who have completed Reiki 1 training.
Finally, I want to leave you with a summary of the 5 Reiki principles:
- The Reiki Principles, also called “The Miraculous Medicine for all Diseases"
- Just for today, do not anger.
- Just for today, do not worry.
- Be grateful
- Do your best
- Be kind.
These words encourage us to choose peace when we are confronted with challenge or difficulty, to choose serenity when worldly concerns tempt us to feel overwhelmed to appreciate each moment
or our lives, to be guided by our own highest wisdom, and to be compassionate to all.
Looking forward to seeing you all in October, spaces are limited so do express your interest if this is something you feel would benefit you.
Homemade soup and scones will be provided on the day, but do bring your own sandwiches or other lunch preferences with you on the day.
