The full cost of the NADA (Acudetox) Practitioners Certficate is deducted from the full Auricular Acupuncture Practitioner Certificate should you decide on further training.*

*Deduction is valid for 2 years from initial detox training.

Deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable.

Full kit included in training: Silicone ear, sharps bin, detox needle pack, consultation forms.

The NADA (Acudetox) Practitioners Certificate is a specialised program with particular emphasis on the detoxification process in substance misuse.

Individuals/therapists successfully completing the course may use the NADA 5 Point Protocol as an adjunct to their work.

Workshop and training in the use of the NADA Protocol, suitable for:

  • Addictions & harm reduction counsellors
  • Mental health therapists & social workers
  • Prison officers & drug court personnel
  • Trauma support center staff
  • First responders, health promoters, nurses, and EMTs
  • Acupuncturists, medical doctors
  • Therapists managing pain reduction and body/mind balancing

The NADA acupuncture protocol has been shown:

  • Reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms associated with addictive substance use.
  • Helps ease anxiety and depression associated with mental health conditions.
  • Aids in stress management
  • Can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as an addition to other holistic treatments.
  • Brings about a sense of balance and calm throughout the mind and body.

NADA Protocol can be offered:

  • In-house and through HSE services
  • Prison services
  • Community-based substance misuse agencies
  • Residential rehabilitation centres
  • Stress management groups
  • Mental health services

Can be delivered within a group setting.

The NADA protocol is a non-verbal approach to healing and involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilised disposable needles into specific sites on each ear.

 

Booking Terms & Conditions

  • Minimum Student Requirement: All workshops and courses require a minimum of six (6) enrolled participants to proceed. In the event that this minimum number is not met, The Bodytree College reserves the right to reschedule the workshop/course. Any payments or deposits made will be automatically transferred to the next available date for the same workshop. Alternatively, participants may choose to apply their payment toward a different workshop of equal value.
