The Bodytree College is currently located in the Eastway Business Park on the Ballysimon Road in Limerick, V94N7D3. 

All of our courses take place on-site in the classroom, however we do have an Online Learning Portal for students to access extra material and catch up on anything they may have missed out on in class.

Yes, we are an accredited College in association with ITEC/VTCT Skills. A certified ITEC examiner oversees our College and examines our students in the relevant courses. 

The short answer is no, you do not need any previous experience or qualifications to enrol in many of our Workshops & Courses. There are of course some 'follow on learning' courses where you may need a qualification in the previous level to proceed. This is stated on each of our Course and Workshop descriptions.

Each course may vary in length. Our Sports Massage, Reflexology, Auricular Acupuncture & Tutor Training Courses are part time and run from September to final exam in April. We then run some Refresher, PHECC First Aid, Dry Needling and other various workshops throughout the year that range from 1- 4 days in length. You can find out the duration of each Course/Workshops in the description.

Absolutely! Many of our baseline Courses and Workshops do not require any previous experience unless otherwise stated. Everything you need to know will be taught to you throughout the duration of the Course/Workshop. Many of our students have had no previous experience in the therapy world and are now running their own clinics after studying at The Bodytree!

Yes, all of our Courses/Workshops have a practical element alongside theoretical learning. At the Bodytree we believe you learn best by practising your techniques while under supervision from your Tutor in the classroom. This gives the opportunity for feedback and growth.

Yes. For our longer courses you will sit your in-house & ITEC end of academic year examinations and receive your certification upon correction. For our Workshops, depending on the criteria, you may carry out a short exam and will be issued your certification either at the end of the Workshop, or by post no more than 1 week later.  

Yes. You can join IMTA for massage, and NRRI for reflexology as well as many other associations that may offer reductions on your insurance when you join. Make sure to ask your association.

Insurance brokers that we have successfully worked with over the years include; O'Brien & Finlay, Brian Mullins & Balens. They will insure multiple disciplines on your policy.

The Tutor team for our long courses consists of Michelle Mayefske , Laura Delaney & Kevin Corbett. They are led my head Tutor and Course co-ordinator Tracy O'Donoghue. Great question! You can enroll by clicking on your chosen Course or Workshop here on the website, selecting the date option that best suits you if the option is there, and then proceeding to the 'Pay Now' option. All our payments are safe and secure, facilitated by Stripe.

Each of our Courses & Workshops are priced individually. For our long courses we have two payment options on the website:

1. Payment in full

2. Payment Plan - Initial deposit to secure your place followed by 6x monthly instalments

If you encounter difficulty with your payment plan please consult the Admin team and we can come to the best solution for both the student and college.

We require the full balance of any Workshop to be paid by date of commencement. In the case of our long courses fees must be paid up to date by the end of academic year as this could delay in receiving your results.

Any deposit paid for a course or Workshop is non-refundable. In some circumstances however we can re-allocate your deposit to another Workshop or course of your choice. 

In the event you would like to cancel or suspend your long course during the academic year, we can 'pause' your payments until you are ready to resume your studies. If you decide to defer your course till the following year or thereafter, we will deduct the amount previously paid from the total cost of the course that year. This remains valid for 3 years from the date of suspension.

Absolutely! Our part-time courses are designed to work around full time responsibilities. A full academic timetable is available upon request to help you plan your studies around your schedule. Our Online Learning Portal can also aid your study in the event you need to miss a day in class.

Prospective students should have a competent level of spoken and written English to ensure they can fully participate in classes and complete written coursework and exams.

RPL's are accessed on an individual basis. ITEC must be consulted for each enquiry to recognise previous qualifications and determine if said qualifications can be applied to your chosen course.

Yes! If, for any reason, you need to repeat an exam this can be organised with the College. The first re-sit of a written ITEC exam is free, a charge of €55 per additional re-sit is charged thereafter. 

Yes, we provide work experience in our Bodytree Community Clinics. Here you can get real-life experience in a fast-paced clinic setting, learn from experienced qualified therapists, and observe therapy techniques with genuine clients. The Community Clinic is also a great place to complete your course required case studies, with the clients permission.

Yes, tutor sessions can be arranged at an additional cost with our Head Tutor & Course Co-ordinator Tracy O'Donoghue or with a member of our tutor team. These extra tuition sessions can be arranged via zoom or in person.

Yes you can purchase Bodytree College vouchers to your chosen value by contacting the Admin team on [email protected]. Vouchers can be sent digitally via email or physical vouchers can be sent via post to either the buyer or the chosen recipient.

The Bodytree Community Clinics is a non-profit community clinic that provides essential therapeutic services at a significantly reduced cost. Our goal is to make support accessible to all members of the community.

We operate in a communal setting, meaning sessions take place in a shared space. However, we offer private areas for changing, and discretion is a top priority.

Our clinic is supported by volunteers, including front desk reception staff, and our therapists work on a semi-volunteer basis, helping us keep costs low while maintaining a high standard of care.

Yes, all of our therapists are fully qualified in their respective disciplines and have many years experience in the field. They all hold up-to-date insurance cover and are vetted by our clinic manager before they begin work in the clinic.

Absolutely anyone! All age groups are welcome in our Community Clinic. We offer a reduced price rate for children under 16 years of age and they must be accompanied by an adult during their session.

Yes, confidentiality is of upmost importance to us. While we do perform our sessions in a shared space, clients consultations and details are only viewed by our therapists and are kept in a locked filing cabinet between sessions. 

The Bodytree Community Clinic is a walk-in service meaning it is not necessary to make an appointment. You need just arrive during our opening hours and depending on our availability you may be brought straight in or possibly have a short wait time.

Not at all, anyone can attend the clinic without a referral. However we can treat with the assistance of a referral if you would like. Please bring a copy of an MRI/X-ray/Report from your medical professional regarding a specific condition if available.

During your first session take the time to familiarise yourself with the surroundings and your therapist. You will be asked to fill out a client chart which is a brief description about yourself and any reasons that may have brought you to the clinic, apart from relaxation!

Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed during your treatment. If you have any documentation or written queries relating to an injury or condition you are seeking treatment for, feel free to bring them along with you on the day.

Due to the nature our communal treatment space and team of skilled therapists we can accommodate a large amount of clients simultaneously in our clinic. Of course there can sometimes be a short period of wait time during busy periods. Also if you would like to wait for a certain choice of therapy and the therapists that perform said therapy are otherwise engaged with a client you are welcome to wait till they become available, or alternatively you can choose a different therapy for that day.

We will endeavour to pair you with a certain therapist that may have treated you in a previous session if they are available, however due to the nature of the community clinics we would ask that you understand it may not always be possible. We have confidence in all of our Therapists to provide clients with the best possible care.

A session cost in our Community Clinic is €45 per person. This includes the two therapies of your choice. 

For children under 16 years of ages we offer a reduced rate of €30 per child.

Yes, depending on your insurance providers conditions you can claim up to 50% of your session cost with a Bodytree Community Clinics receipt. Please ask one of our volunteers at reception that can explain further and write you up a receipt.

You can pay via cash or card payment in our clinic. Receipts are also issued for purchases.

Yes, our clinic is located on the ground floor with a ramp leading up to the front door of the premises.

Yes. We want you to feel comfortable, and you’re welcome to request a change at any time.

Absolutely yes. Any information you provide your therapist with during your session is kept strictly confidential. All our client files are stored in a locked filing cabinet that is accessed only by management.
