Manage learning and development in groups.
The aim of this unit is to enable you to manage learning and development in groups.You will learn to understand the use of a variety of management methods, for example motivational strategies, behaviour management, provision of advice as well as deliver strategies to facilitate learning. You will also gain knowledge in planning and involving learners within groups in the learning and development process.

Delivering education and training.
The aim of this unit is to gain skills and understanding in inclusive teaching and
learning approaches in accordance with internal processes and external
requirements, to communicate with learners and to evaluate own delivery practice. You will gain an understanding of how technology can enhance teaching and learning and covers expectations in relation to the minimum core in delivering inclusive teaching and learning.

Assessing learners in education and training.
The aim of the unit is to enable you to understand and implement different types and methods of assessment, to conduct and record assessment in accordance with internal and external processes and requirements and to evaluate your own assessment practice. You will cover the expectations in relation to the minimum core in assessing learners in lifelong learning.

Certification is assessed by a portfolio built throughout the year based on assignments based on the above units and modules. Class work experience hours, building class reports and assisting certified tutors are included in your portfolio
based on practical and theory gained knowledge and understanding.

Tutor Team

Our tutor team is led by Tracy O Donoghue, a multi disciplined therapist of 20+ years, with over 15 years’ experience teaching with ITEC.

All our tutors hold qualifications in ITEC Level 4 Certificates in Education and Training and are successful in their own private clinics. Tutors teach in their specialised areas, though hold qualifications and have experience in various fields of
therapy. This will add a deeper knowledge, variety and confidence to your skills as a qualifying tutor.
